Tadarus Program 

“Tadarus” program is a comprehensive management education system provides all the functions needed by universities, schools, companies and training centers to introduce and manage their studying courses through the internet , this includes the management of the admission and registration process, the creation of and management of the educational content, and provide tools to the virtual class, and build and manage exams and assignments, and discussion forums and e-mails, and follow-up performance of the instructor through a number of integrated subsystems.

Admission and Registration Management:

The program administers all operations related to the progress of the registration and admission process, and handle a study plan for the program chosen by the student, and through which a student can register and delete courses according to the terms of the plan of study, also the program can calculate and record the students' marks he gained and find out his average degree, then give approval to the graduation of the student who met the requirements of the plan.

Creating and managing courses content:

The program provides a tool to build educational content in the form of educational components that stored according to SCORM and AICC standards, and this tool provides templates for the forms of educational pages through which educational content is put to the supported multimedia lessons in an easy and simple way. The program allows the user / instructor to build educational content in the form of units and lessons and educational pages with the consideration to the learning objectives, questions, exercises, comments, and exams, terminologies, and identify the educational path of the courses (free or written).

A student can search the content of the course, and the develop stop signs and comments on the content. The program can provide the general information of the courses content and links them to the educational activities (discussion forums, exams, assignments, and educational links.)

Building and managing exams:

The program allows creating questions’ banks that covers type of questions of right and wrong, multiple-choice and short answer and the coupling body compatible with the specification IMS QTI, also allows the import and exporting questions compliant with the specification IMS QTI. Is building the exam questions are stored in the bank according to the conditions specified by the teacher, the system allows mixing of questions and  to be displayed  randomly in the exam, also it allows the identification of time / duration of the exam and the time when it is shown to the student. The system provides the possibility of automatic and immediate correction of the exams, and through the system or printed on paper, it also provides many of the reports on the questions and exams and the students results.

Management class assignments:

The program allows tutor to downloading the assignments of the course page along with a fixed date to be presented to the student, the student is also allowed to send / hand over his assignment to be with the tutor telling him the time of transmission / delivery. The system also allows the teacher to correct the student's assignments and registering his grades and mentioning necessary comments then send them to students via their e-mails or personal pages.

The Virtual Classroom:

By the virtual classroom, instructor can broadcast his lecture to all students with audio and video, and the explanation on the e-blackboard. The system enables the instructor to monitor attendance and managing classroom discussions and conversations such as (request permission to speak, permission to speak, turn off the speaker, giving the microphone etc. ..), and also manage and display the sources of the lecture files (demos, photos, video and audio), and students can comment and ask questions through the microphone voice or text conversation. The system can record lectures and explanations on the blackboard for later viewing by students, also provides possibility of involving in the applications and participating in the browsing.

Record of grades:

Record of student points allows establishing of the different areas of courses evaluation, the (exams, assignments, attendance and other activities) and monitoring of students' grades in these different aspects, and allows the system to control ups and down of grades, and conduct statistical treatments, and provide numerous reports of grades.

Monitoring the performance of the learner:

The program provides multiple and detailed reports on all educational activities carried out by the student / learner in dealing with the program such as: access times to the system and studying courses, participating in the forums, number of accesses to studying courses, the lessons carried-out and the results of the exams and assignments, and participation in lectures, live, and many of the reports which gives the full story for each student in dealing with the system and how he learned by it. And that is made ​​available to the instructor and student.

Discussion forums

Discussion forums provide the appropriate environment for direct interaction between instructor and students and among students with each other. The system gives the instructor the possibility to control the nature of participation in the forum, also allows the establishment of a sub-discussion forums for the cooperative learning groups besides the general forum of the studying course, and many functions-related to discussion of forums.

E-mail:

The program provides all the basic functions of e-mail, through which students can send and receive e-mails, and append files with different messages, and review the addresses of registered instructors and students, and demonstrating topics of the e-mail.

Management of folders / files:

The system offers a program for managing files and folders from which the student can store private files, and shares them with colleagues and his instructors, beside access to the files sent by the instructor for students or his group.

Academic Calendar / Announcements:

The system offers an academic calendar to help instructors and students to organize their private time, it also demonstrate automatically the studying courses, such as dates of exams and assignments, live lectures. The system displays multiple ways of calendar (monthly, weekly and daily), and displays the date in Hijri and Gregorian calendar. The system provides the system manager and instructor an appropriate tool through which he establishes announcements suitable for the institution and the studying courses which appears in the student's own page or the studying courses page and that would be according to the type of announcement.
