Praise be to Allah alone, and peace be upon His messenger Muhammad, his family, his companions and those who righteously follow him until the Day of Judgment:

Contemporary life has witnessed tremendous progress in most fields and branches of medicine. Therefore, intricate issues and inquiries concerning the medical practices and their effect on the Muslim's life in his worship and behavior have arisen. Recognizing its role toward the issues and problems of the society and aiming at fulfilling its mission in presenting the juristic solutions for recent issues, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University holds (The Second Conference on Fiqh "Islamic Jurisprudence" under the title of Contemporary Medical Issues) from 23 to 25/ 11/ 1430 H. Many jurists, scholars, physicians and specialists will participate to review and discuss the contemporary medical issues and illustrate their juristic status on these issues.         

The conference will hopefully add innovations to medical juristic studies through the contributions of the jurists, physicians and specialists.
