Publishing Rules

Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Journal (Humanities & Social Sciences) is a periodic scientific journal issued by the university scientific research deanship. It focuses on publishing thesis and researches according the following guidelines: 

Publishing at Scientific Journals (Sharia & Arabic Science Journal – Humanities & Social Science Journal)

First: A research can be approved for publishing at the journal if:

1. It is original and creative, scientifically serious and methodical.
2. The researcher is committed to the relative scientific approaches, tools and methods.
3. The research is accurate in citation and directory.
4. The research is linguistically well-structured.
5. The research had not been previously published.
6. The research is not copied from a research, book or thesis of the researcher himself or anybody else.

Second:                At submitting the research, it stipulates that:

1. The researcher shall submit application enclosed with his resume and a certificate that includes the ownership of the researcher of the intellectual property for the whole research and a commitment not to publish the research after getting the written notice of the edit members.
2. Pages of the research don’t be more than (50) A4.
3. Font of the typing must be “17” (Traditional Arabic) and “13” for margins and the spacing is single.
4. The researcher shall submit 3 printed copies of the research with abstracts in Arabic and English of no more than 200 words or one full page.

Third: Citation:

1. All margins shall be at the end of the page.
2. All the sources and references shall be collected at the end of the book.
3. Pictures of manuscript to be investigated shall be enclosed.
4. All the relative pictures and graphics of the research must be enclosed, provided that they have to be clear.

Fourth: In case of mentioning any of famous persons in the research or the study, this person’s year of death shall be mentioned in the footnote in Hijri Calendar.

Fifth: In case of mentioning any of famous persons in the research or the study, this person’s name shall be mentioned in Arabic and English. It is enough to mention the complete name once.

Sixth: The submitted researches shall be judged by two of the arbitrators at least.

Seventh: The researches shall be turned back modified on a CD or to be sent to the magazine on the e-mail.

Eighth: Unpublished researches shall not be returned to their authors.

Ninth: The researcher shall be given five copies of the magazine and 10 copies of his research.
