Current procedures to get a sports membership:

(1) Application for membership: filling the Membership application Form and attaching a color photograph of size 4 × 6.
(2) Conducting a medical examination and getting approval for this examination from any medical authority that must stamp on the application form for membership and personal images and declare whether the applicant is fit for membership to practice sport activities or not.
(3) Identity card of the applicant Member :
A) Copy of ID card of a Saudi or the residence permit for non-Saudis along the original.
B) The relatives of the affiliated students and the service seekers from outside the university can be identified by bringing a copy of identity card, residence permit or family card along the original.
(4) To prove the linkage with University :
A) The employees and faculty members must bring a copy of work card with the original card or an Identification Letter from the employer stating that the applicant still works with the University.
B) For a student, he must take the approval of his college or institute, which he belongs to where the Director of Student Affairs stamps on the student's membership application form in the case the student has any Liaison with the College or institute.
C) For membership candidates under 18 years, they should have their fathers' approval. This comes through guardian's signing of a membership application form in which he recognizes that he allows his son to practice sports activities and to bear the responsibilities resulting from that.
D) Candidates asking for membership from outside the university, they must obtain exceptional approval from the Department of sports facilities, depending on personal interview with the director of sport facilities.
(5) By signing the membership application form, the membership applicant bears the full responsibility about his proficiency at swimming without any responsibility on the management of sports facilities.
(6) The membership applicant states the validity of data contained in his membership application form otherwise he bears responsibility for that.
(7) The membership applicant vows to commit to all regulations and administrative instructions issued by the management of sport facilities which are represented in the rules and ethics of practicing sports activities inside the sport facilities of the university.
(8) Membership fees is paid through sale points available in the department of sport facilities, it cannot be accepted in cash :
A) Membership is free for staff, faculty teaching members and affiliated students.
B) For relatives of university employees and affiliated students, Membership applicants from outside the university, they pay fees as it is applied by administrative regulations issued.
(9) The membership card is issued after the applicant meets all the conditions and requirements mentioned above, this card is suitable for one Hegira year.
(10) Cancellation of Membership :-  sports facilities management can cancel sport membership of the participant in the following cases :
A) Expired membership card.
B) Members' violation of regulations and administrative instructions.
C) End of his association with the University for any Reason.
(11)  Card Renewal: After the expiry of the membership card it will be renewed in the same steps mentioned above, taking into account any changes in the requirements and conditions, and Administrative Instructions for the membership of sports facilities in its time.
Administrative instructions for sport membership:
When you apply for your membership card to enter sport facilities you must pledge to abide by the instructions of the service. In case of a member violated these regulations, then the service provider is entitled to apply appropriate penalties on the offending Member:
(1) Membership is limited to university sport facilities; it is not allowed to be used otherwise.
(2) It is not allowed for any member to enter any facility without the sport membership card.
(3) It is not allowed for non-card holder to practice sports activities within the facilities.
(4) Sport practice must be stopped before the prayer time by 15 minutes.
(5) Every facility has a working time, every activity has specific time.  All members must comply with these specific times that are declared by the administration, taking into account maintenance times for each facility.
(6) The signature of the applicant to the "acknowledgement" in the form turns the management of sports facilities irresponsible about it.
(7) The instructions, the University City systems and wall Announcements of the establishment must be considered.
(8) The instructions of sports facilities' supervisors and of trainers must be abided by.
(9) Tools and sport playgrounds must be preserved.
(10) Any misuse intentional damages must be borne by the doer.
(11) Islamic morality must be adhered to in the exercise of any activity with discard of unfamiliar clothes.
(12) It is not permissible for anyone to take photos without in-writing permission from the management.
(13) Long hair should be covered during sport practice with avoiding unusual haircuts.
(14)  Smoking is forbidden in Islam, it is harmful for health, socially unacceptable, and it is banned in the university systems, please adhere to that.
(15) For those under the age of 18 years old, guardian consent to their participation is required.  Their guardian takes the responsibility for their participation.
(16) In case of loss or damage of the membership card because of misuse, the member has to pay a fine of 100 Saudi riyals.
(17)  If the member violates the instructions and regulations appropriate penalties would be applied against the member, he has no right to object.
(18)  Membership is valid as soon as the procedures are completed. If the member came late to receive the membership card or he did not practice sport, then he is not entitled to claim compensation for that period.
(19) The member is responsible for his own luggage (belongings). Sport facilities do not have any responsibility for this.
(20) If the sports facilities is busy with any activity (sport activity) the member is not entitled to seek compensation for that period.
