Workshop on a Concise Encyclopedia regarding contemporary issues starts

Under the kind patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Sulaiman Aba al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, al-Imam's Research Center for contemporary issues this morning conducted a workshop on the "drafting of a Concise Encyclopedia in contemporary issues".   

On the importance of the workshop, Dr. Ayidh N. al-Sulamy, Director of the center, said that "the workshop aims to actively contribute in preparing a plan for the drafting of the encyclopedia, and benefit from the participants’ ideas and suggestions to achieve the required quality and comprehensiveness".

“Members of the publishing and research committee will take part in the workshop, in addition to a number of faculty members from other Saudi universities” he added.

It is remarkable that the concise encyclopedia will be compiled by many faculty members from five different Saudi universities in the first common research project in Saudi Arabia.
