Assemblies of the Glorious Quran memorization are to continue during holy month of Ramadan thanks to a resolution by
H.E. Professor Dr. Suliman A. Aba Al-Khail, rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Su’ud University.
Realizing the significance of the assemblies, the rector has approved of their continuity to avail student time in useful things, particularly when it comes to memorization and recitation of the Glorious Quran.
In statements,
Professor Dr. Ahamd Y. Ad-Daruish, the Vice-rector for Community Service and Continual Education and the Director-general of the Glorious Quran Assemblies at the Faculty Housing, said, “The on-campus officials are keen on investing youth time in whatsoever derives them benefits, keeping them away from getting busy in trivialities. They want to protect them against unfamiliar, non-Arab cultures; strange trends; and digressed conducts. They target at cementing their cling to Islam; deepening their patriotism; and enhancing their loyalty to the rulers. This helps inculcate the principle of loyalty and allegiance into their hearts as stressed in the Glorious Quran, the Sunna of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the righteous ancestors of the nation.”
“Enrolling in the Glorious Quran assemblies is open for all daughters and sons of the faculty members at the faculty housing,” added Ad-Daruish.
Ad-Daruish called upon the fathers to urge their offspring to attend the sessions regularly to learn the Noble Quran proficiently at the hands of a pool of specialists in the Glorious Quran and its sciences.
