Symposium of Internet search skills will launch

 
H.E. Professor Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, will sponsor tomorrow night a symposium on "Development of search skills for information" presenting by Dr. Musa'id Ibn Saleh Al-Tayyar, in the mosque of housing of faculty members.

Dr. Ahmad Y. Ad-Drwaish, Vice-rector of Community Service and Continuing Education and Director of Follow-up Department, explained that, importance of the symposium is emerged from the fact that; search for information across internet be more difficult day by day, and as number of pages available on the Internet is increasing, access to them accurately be more difficult and complicated.

Dr. Ad-Drwaish pointed out that, everyday users faces obstacles concerning available information across the web, obstacles that differ from one user to another depending on various factors like; experience of using tools, take advantages of available search engines especially Google Engine. Symposium is targets at meeting numerous goals such as; shed lights upon skills of search across the internet, and develop personal research skills of the researcher in order to meet with his accurate research needs.
