Admissions to Higher Studies Go More Than 200%: Dean

Figure of the admitted postgraduates to higher studies programs for 2008-2009 academic year increased 200% in some programs, said Dr. Khalid Al-Meshaal, Dean of Higher Studies, yesterday. “Earlier, H.E. Professor Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, the rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, issued directives to increase the capacity of higher studies programs for the 2008-2009 academic year,” added he. “Around 1120 students have already been admitted to 43 MA and PhD programs,” he noted.

 “The admission percentage hits more than 200% in some programs in response to the dire need to qualify postgraduates to serve the social, academic and judicial institutions of the homeland,” he concluded.
