ACER Experts Delegation Visits Imam University

In coincidence with the academic project agreement inked on the earlier of this year’s January between both Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), a pool of the ACER’s experts had paid a visit to the university venue on the last week.

In statements on the occasion of the ACER experts visit, Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad Ad-Dawud, Vice-Rector of Imam University for Studies, Development and Academic Accreditation, stated that, the visitation of the experts delegation is come in lines of cementing the cooperative academic relations with Australian specialized development center as well as with ACER. “Works is underwent to hone up and strengthening the capabilities and capacities of all university’s students”, noted he.

On the goals of the delegation visit, Dr Ahmad Yahya Al-Jubaili, Imam University’s Dean for Evaluation and Quality, highlighted that, Imam University will absolutely benefits and invigorates from the experiences of ACER in Evaluation and Assessment. “The Academic project agreement inked will pave the way for Imam University’s Centre for Evaluation and Assessment (ICEA) to become one of the world’s best centres specializing in sophisticated assessment, evaluation and reporting”, added he.
Its worth to mention that, ACER experts’ teamwork had held a four-day workshop with the officials and academic staff of Evaluation and Quality Deanship where they helped in assessing the initial report of Imam Cognitive Skills Test’s results in order to measure both critical reasoning and problem solving.
