H.M. King Approves Establish of New Imam University Deanship

H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, The Custodian of The Two Holly Mosques and Chairman of Saudi Higher Education council, has approved in the communiqué of the last council meetings the establishment of a new innovative deanship at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.

The new approved deanship, named Deanship for Teaching and Learning Development, is comes in line with the university’s tireless efforts to keep pace with the rapid informational and technological changes in the university education and community service as well, said H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, in statements on the occasion.

Further on the blessed directives of H.M. King Abdullah, Imam University rector stressed that, the new-modified deanship will integrate with the other developmental university counterparts in developing the educational and administration process within the university’s structural. “It’s a necessity in the current challengeable world which always demands performing more efforts to keep pace with changes of the knowledge community and information industry”, added he.

At the same vein, H.E. the university rector has issued a resolution on appointing Dr. Abdullah Al-Mubaraki, Assistant Professor at Imam Social Science College, as a dean of the deanship. In response to the rector’s resolution, Dr. Al-Mubaraki thanked Dr. Aba Al-Khail for the confidence and trust he placed upon him and further, prayed Allah Almighty, Exalted to be He, to be up to the expectations and plans.
