Imam University Backing Soft Approach Saudi Rehabilitation Program

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University is consistently paying utmost contribution efforts in almost all national and patriotic events and programs especially those pertaining to counterterrorism and bad intellectual futile beliefs, stated H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, while signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with officials of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant of Saudi Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, Center for Care Rehabilitation and Counseling.

The inked MOU will help to energize the program to achieve its own objectives as long as it devoting to rehabilitate several hundred repentant jihadists and young youth whom were deliberately deceived from the righteous path, pointed out H.E. the rector.

“Success witnessed by the program’s heads in charge whom employ art therapy as well as religious and psychological counseling to try to alter the radical outlook of the participants. Greater part of the success is also devoting to the rulers of the country whom paying everything they can to support security and stability of their people”, noted Dr. Abd Al-Khail.

In turn, the chairman of the Care Rehabilitation Center, Major-General Said Omair Al-Bishi, lauded the efforts of Imam University in combating misled thought and deviated intellectual and cultural influences. “Half of the center’s overall activities and accomplishments are attributed to Imam University ongoing participation”, added he.

At the end of the gathering, which have had held at the university’s rector office, a momentum was delivered to Major-General Al-Bishi by H.E. the university rector.
