Imam University Research Initiative Praised

H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Salman Al-Saud, the secretary-general of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), praised the initiative taken by Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, to conduct dissertations, contributing to development process in the country.
In reply to a letter sent by H.E. Professor Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, the rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, to the SCTA, Prince Sultan said, “The SCTA adopts a scholarship program to develop the academic cadres’ efficiency and enrich their knowledge. It provides funds to researchers and postgraduates. It hosts the Tourism Information and Research Centre (MAS), in charge of collecting tourism contents and publishing studies and researches on tourism and antiquities”.
Prince Sultan presented a copy of the SCTA publications to Aba Al-Khail to know more about research topics on tourism and antiquities.
Along the same vein, Aba Al-Khail was praised by H.E. Dr. Fouad Al-Farsy, Minster of Hajj, for the same initiative. He said, “It shows his a positive action linking the university researches with whatsoever serves Islam and homeland”.
Al-Farsy said, “Researches and studies on Hajj are conducted by King Abdullah Institute for Hajj Research, affiliated to the University of Umm Al-Qura”. “Imam University could communicate with the institute directly to achieve the interests of all,” added he.
