Minister of High Education Signs Imam University Staff Members Housing Contract of SR 700 million
H. E The minister of High Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Angary has signed today the housing project contract of Imam Mohamed bin Saud Islamic university staff members with total amount of SR ( 699) million.
H .E the manager of Imam Mohamed bin Saud Islamic university, Prof. Dr. Suliman bin Abdullah Aba al-Khail said that the signature of these contracts comes as an extension to a number of contracts previously signed by the university as abiding from it to speedy activate the additional incentives to the teaching staff members cadre in Saudi universities which adopted by the council of ministers, and therefore, the placing of this incentives into immediate implementation to achieves the targets for which theses additional incentives were adopted, among which the allocation of SR 5`billion for building housing units to universities professors at universities cities ambient as the university maneuvers to achieve the wised leadership ambitions in securing the psychological stability to teaching staffs members in university and provision the suitable academic and social environment among which the convenient and suitable housing that prepares the best climate for work to continue the dedication and creativity of these elites which will positively reflect on our sons the students and support the university education outputs in general.
Dr. Aba Al-Khail added that, the project is considered one of the gigantic and main projects related to the third phase of teaching staff members housing which includes 1000 housing units pursuant to the latest and high specifications that avoided the negatives and notes of the first and second phases.
He said, the signature of this contract which its value reach more than SR 700 million is the first part of the third phase which will be soon followed by the second part during few coming days.
H. E noted that; no doubt the establishing of such projects and its real presence or that under implementation, clearly, indicates the total reissuance the we enjoy in this land, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in all educational, social, economic and security aspects and other, and continued to say; we consider the signature of this contract by H.E the minister of high education, University council chairman, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Angary reflects this reality.
Dr. Aba Al-Khail expressed his thanks to the custodian of the two holy mosques, king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and the crown prince, prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz- may Allah keeps them- for their concern, generous support and kind care to the high education and its personnel.
The second extension project of teaching staff members housing project in the university city includes the construction of more than (1000) housing units distributed into a group of various height buildings.
The project contains the streets, courts and squares related to this part of housing as well as the utilities, services and networks related to the project further to the required utilities of schools, kindergartens, staff members club and squares. The area was planned so as to provide the privacy to each house along with a private garden to the kids for each group of buildings without need to cross the streets. Also, cars parking were provided for inhabitants and visitors in near areas of the building between each group of it.
The housing unit (the apartment) consists of three areas; the first is men section which includes an office, sitting area, dining hall, washing rooms and guests toilet while the second one is for family and includes, living hall with a toilet, a suitable place for the kitchen with which attached a corner for breakfast, small store and washing room and the third area consists of a sleeping suite which includes the main bed room and three bed rooms with its required toilets and also there are other housing units that include beside the main bed room, four bed rooms.
The total space of the five bed rooms apartment reaches about (335) sq/m, while the total space of the four bed rooms apartment reaches about (322) sq/m.
The costs of this phase reaches about SR (1.700.000.000) only one billion and 7 hundred million riyals.
