Imam University and Western African Institute Cooperate Educationally

On the last days, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University had signed a bold memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ansar Al-Islam (Partisans of Islam) College at Republic of Sierra Leone. Representing H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of the university, Dr. Ahmed Ad-Drwaish, Imam Vice-rector for Community Service and Information Technology, had signed the MOU with director of the college at Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone.



On the MOU goals, Dr. Ad-Drwaish pointed out that, Imam University will assist Ansar Al-Islam College in participating and monitoring its academia plans and colloquiums, as long as helping in enhance its academic accreditation programs.

It’s notable that, the MOU is comes in line with the cemented bilateral relations between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Sierra Leone and in accordance with the directives of Dr. Aba Al-Khail to fully cooperate with other Islamic institutes.
Praising the signed MOU, many Sierra Leonean officials had thanked H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, for his ceaseless support and efforts to render a success to all education activities of all Muslim world.


The signature meeting was attended by Mr. Abdulaziz A. Al-Jomaa, Director General of Public Relations and International Cooperation Dept, beside a number of Sierra Leonean officials from the ministry of education and Youth affairs and many distinct Sierra Leonean Islamic leaders.
