Imam University Inked MOU with Al-Rajhi Bank on Special Needs Students

Within the framework if of strengthening and supporting the university’s academic activities and societal engagement, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Al-Rajhi Bank signed an agreement to backing some of the university’s distance education students and folk of the university special needs students.

The agreement was inked at the headquarters of the university between H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, and Mr. Abdullah Bin Suliman Al Rajhi, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

On significance of the signature ceremony, Imam University Rector highly hailed the continued and distinguished supports of the bank to the overall university progress.  Additionally, Dr. Aba Al-Khail had thanked the rulers of the government of H.M. king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for their extraordinary efforts and backing to the people of Saudi Arabia. He, in further, promised the announcement of a number of issues that would help largely in accomplishing the university’s mission and goals.

From the other side, Imam University Rector had acknowledged the royal decisions and directives of H.M. king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to relief the detainee persons, whom are already enrolled into the various distance education programs of the university, from paying the dues costs. He considered it as a continuation to the humanity initiatives of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques.

Mr. Abdullah Bin Suliman Al Rajhi, CEO of Al-Rajhi Bank, commented on the agreement by indicating that, Al-Rajhi Bank is aims through this step to act boldly with Imam University toward financially backing some of the distance learning students in one side and in providing some tools and equipments for the special needs students. He affirmed that, the agreement value will reach to more than million Saudi riyals.
