Dr. Ad-Dawud Inaugurates Winding-Up of Overseas Sharia-Based Symposium

On behalf of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, Dr. Abdul-Rahman H. Ad-Dawud, Imam Vice-rector of Studies, Development and Academic Accreditation, has inaugurated on the last a few days the winding-up session of the second Sharia-based symposium for Imams, muezzins and instructors which held recently at Imam Islamic and Arab Sciences Institute at Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.

On significance of the symposium, Dr. Ad-Dawud pointed out that, it was aimed to provide Imams, muezzins and instructors of Sharia institutes with the required experiences and skills that actually owned and gained by Imam University is this field. The symposium has been come along with the university continuing efforts and activities to improve and develop its curricula and deliverables, said he.

He further declared that, such a Sharia based-symposium will have a strong role in the outlook of the future of the Sharia sciences. “We, at Imam University, are deeply looking for increasing the outstanding scientific and Sharia contributions and we are, as well, anticipating a great scientific values and outputs from such specialized symposiums”, noted Imam Vice-rector.

Such symposiums are helping largely in gaining a perfect and clear level of education and knowledge that going side-by-side with the highly educational foundations and bases, concluded he. 

It’s worth pointing out that, the Sharia-based symposium is organizing by Imam University in collaboration with Royal Saudi Embassy at Jakarta and the university center for community service and continuing education and administration of Sheikh Saleh Al-Rajhi endowments.
