Imam University Cementing Its Academic Bonds Internally

Imam University is always keens to cement its academic ties with other counterpart Saudi universities and as such it welcomes other higher education institutions to benefit from its experiences and accomplishments, said lastly H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, in statements after signing a bold academic cooperation agreement with Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Al-Saif, President of Hail University.

Shedding lights upon the agreement aims, Dr. Aba Al-Khail further stated that, it will strongly assist Hail University to establish its first Sharia and Law College and to launch its academic and scientific programs in the months to come. 

“It is tremendous step toward fulfilling the rulers’ aspirations and expectations regarding the development of Saudi judicial system. Both universities will work harder in the next coming days to finalize the specified regulations and to reach to a point that lets Hail University attaining a success and enhancement”, pointed out he.  In furtherance, Dr. Aba Al-Khail highly lauded the untiring efforts of H.E. Prof. Dr. Khalid Al-Angry, Saudi Minister of Higher Education, and his cabinet to tear down barriers standing in the higher education institutions’ enhancement.

From his side, Dr. Al-Saif gave extra details on the cooperation agreement where he asserted that, Imam university will help Hail university in preparing the necessary required initial studies and researches, and in establishing the college system and lastly in the operational period. The later would be for a specific time only.

Acknowledging the instant and continuous cooperation of Imam University, Dr. Al-Saif said that, in response to the H.M. King Abdullah’s initiative to enhance and improve the Saudi judicial system, the university had decided to take more action in that way by setting up the proposed college.

Dr. Abdulaziz Nassir Al-Khuraif, Dean of Prince Naif Research and Consulting Service Institute, said that, the institute will take credit in turning the agreement into reality and to that end, the institute had designed a teamwork consisting of a number of talent persons and organs who can help strongly in supporting the creation of the college and enhancing its deliverables.
