H.M. King Abdullah Patronizes Nabi Alrahma Symposium

On next may 2010, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University will organize under the auspice of H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, an international bold symposium - Mohammad Nabi Alrahma (The Prophet of Mercy) Peace and Blessings of Allah Be upon Him.

On the occasion of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, said that, the symposium is as important as the university is always paying efforts to handle studies of the Glorious Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be Upon Him). He further stated that "It's one of the wide-continued endeavors to compact against the repeated abuses and biased media attacks aimed to distorting the image of Islam and the Prophet of Islam".

On the symposium goals, Dr. Aba Al-Khail pointed out that “It aims to identify Islam traditions and principles as well as demonstrate the prophet's life and merciful aspects of his personality and to publicize and support of the Prophet of Islam - peace be upon him. Moreover, it aims to study western views upon Islam and prophet's message”. “It, additionally, targets to correct the false beliefs of western world towards Islam and to fight peacefully against the negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear” noted he.

Praising H.M. King Abdullah and H.R.H. Prince Sultan and H.R.H. Prince Naif for their ceaseless support to Sunnah and Glorious Quran, Imam Rector has clarified that “More than eight key themes will be discuss at the symposium  focusing on the appearance of the merciful aspects of Prophet Muhammad - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.”

It's worth to mention that, the symposium will be organizing by Saudi Scientific Association for Sunnah and its Sciences at Imam University Campus. All participations of the intellectuals and writers are welcome and acceptable until next October.
