Imam University Participates in URC Applied Computing Conference

On the next May, a number of students from Imam University Computer and Information College will participate in the Second Annual Conference on Undergraduate Research on Applied Computing (URC2010) hosting by Zayed University, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The objective of URC2010 conference is to promote undergraduate research activity at universities in the Gulf countries by providing a forum for students to present their work and interact with other young researchers, faculty, and industrial leaders.

Announced that Dr. Abdullah At-Tamim, Dean of Imam Computer and Information College, and further stated the student participation is comes in line with the college and university endeavors to enhance their scientific and research capabilities. “Six abstract papers from Imam Computer College are accepted by the conference committee to be presenting at the academic gathering. This is merely indicates the distinguished rank our students are reached to”, said he.
