Dr. Al-Fawzan Auspices Closing Ceremony of Imam Mawhiba Program

On behalf of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Dr. Fawzan Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Imam Vice-Rector of Community Service and Information Technology, had inaugurated on the last days the winding up ceremony of Imam University Mawhiba summer program.

Addressing the guests and students who were in the audience, Dr. Al-Fawzan had appointed out that, the government of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz is increasingly seeking to stimulus the entire giftedness and creativity of the development of all governmental and non-governmental segments all around the kingdom. “According with those trends, H.M. King Abdullah had directed decade ago to establish the foundation of King Abdulaziz & his Companion for Giftedness and Creativity to help in explore talent persons and care about them”, added he.

On the exclusiveness of Imam University in caring talent students, Imam Community Service Vice-Rector stated that, Imam University have had a strong believe in caring those distinguished students and it has establish recently a Deanship of Excellence,  Giftedness and Creativity to that end.

Concluding his words, Dr. Al-Fawzan clarified that, this ceremony is to mark those distinguished students whom were participated largely in a full-month summer program organized by the university in tandem with King Abdulaziz & his Companion’s foundation for Giftedness and Creativity. All participant students were actively took part in the programs various events and they had had an opportunity to show their self-designed inventions at the accompanied show organized, said he.

On the other side, Dr. Abdullah Thane, Dean of Imam University Deanship of Excellence, Giftedness and Creativity, had delivered a speech where he lauded the staunch support and assistance received by H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, and all the university senior officials. He fully enlightened the audience about the events and activities that performed and organized during the program.
