Imam Contemporary Fiqh Issues Symposium Launches Tomorrow

H.E. Prof. Dr. Khalid Mohammad Al-Angry, Saudi Minister of Higher Education, will auspice at the headquarters of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University on the next day the academic symposium -Toward Scientific Path of Studying Contemporary Fiqh Issues– organizing and hosting by Imam Excellence Research Center of Contemporary Fiqh Issues.

On significance of the symposium, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, highly acknowledged the ample and continued support of H.E. the minister to all the university activities and programs. He, as well, highlighted the symposium’s objectives as it contributes in designing a scientific methodology for studying the contemporary Fiqh issues and identifies new curricula in the field and it will strengthen the moderate path of elicitation and Inference judgments.

“The symposium will focus on three key figures; curricula of studying contemporary Fiqh issues, and effective rules and origins of exemplifying judgments of contemporary Fiqh issues, and stages of discussing new Fiqh issues”, stated Dr. Aba Al-Khail.

On the preparation steps taken by the university and the center, Dr. Ayyad N.As-Salami, Director of Excellence Research Center of Contemporary Fiqh Issues, stated that, more than 50 researches were received and approximately half of them were approved to be presented and discussed within the symposium sessions.
