King Patronizes Arabic Digital Content on Internet Conference

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University will organize "Digital Arabic Content Conference on the Internet, Challenges and Ambitions" in Riyadh on next October.

The University's Rector Prof. Dr. Suliman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for patronizing the Conference which comes as an extension of his continuing support for affairs of Muslim nations, noting that the support provided by the Saudi leadership to the University has placed it among the ranks of distinctive universities.

On the conference objectives, H.E. the university rector announced that, it aims meeting a number of objectives including the discussing of numerous issues that related to content management on the internet, focusing on Arabic content especially, and benefits beyond it; the exchange of ideas and innovative researches between specialists and academics with highlighting on the effects of the digital gaps; marking of other relating arab digital content initiatives within the arab world; and lastly to get in the development and enhancement of the arab intellectual published production at the world wide web.

Themes of the conference will focusing on the Arabic content Study and identification, the content role in supporting the e-learning, digital Content Techniques and Protocols, laws and regulations, and the Arab and international experiences, clarified Dr. Aba Al-Khail.

Closing his words, H.E. the university rector  encouraged all specialists, academia and interested persons to submit their participation applicants accompanied with abstracts of their researches before the deadlines determined by the conference officials.
