Dr. Al-Angary after his opening patriot affiliation symposium in general education:

Under the patronage of the custodian of two holy mosques king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud- may Allah keeps him- H.E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Angary, the minister of the high education opened today morning the patriot affiliation symposium in general education … vision and aspirations in Sheikh Mohamed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh hall at conferences building in the university city. During the ceremony a number of university projects were inaugurated and foundation stones were placed for other new projects with approximately cost of SR 14 billions.
H. E the university manger, Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail appraised in his speech delivered in the opening ceremony, the kind patronage of the custodian of the two holy mosques king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz for this symposium and said: the patronage this symposium favored indicates the concerns of wised leadership and on its head the custodian of the two holy mosques and his trustee the crown prince H.R. H prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz in reinforcing the values of affiliation to the home-land and made it a tangible behavior in the performance of individuals and whole Saudi society.
He said; the opening of this symposium reminds us with our old time-honored, connects us with our glorious present and drives us to a happy blessed future, as it cares of targets and axles that reinforce the sense of affiliation to homeland and always make this homeland before our eyes to contribute in defending it in our saying and working.
He explained that there are various organizations participate in this symposium beside Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic university such as Ministry of high education, Ministry of interior, ministry of education and other. The activation of this symposium by the Imam University comes as it is a national educational legitimated (SHarieia) university and it is bound to take the initiative in every thing that may serves the homeland and achieve security and safety to its sons in behavior and thinking and explain to them the methods and ways which increase their affiliation and love to their homeland.
He added that the homeland under this wised leadership granted us more and more, and today we see some gigantic projects are inaugurated and foundation stone of other are placed under the kind patronage of the custodian of the two holy mosques king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud and in attendance of H.E the minister of high education where the costs of these projects reached to approx. SR fourteen billion, considering this a bright evidence of the wised government care for any thing that concerns education and prepares the possible means and practices that could achieve the stipulated targets.
From his side H.E Dr Khalid Al-Angary, the ministry of high education conveyed the greetings of the custodian of the two holy mosques king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz to the symposium’s participants, assuring that his majesty follows this meeting with very much personal concern and he said; I am pleased to convey his hopes of success to you all and to the famous Imam Mohamed bin Saud Islamic university which accommodates this meeting, continuing its excellence and essence in performing its mission and achieving its highness targets.
H. E added in his speech: There are dangerous situations prevail in our contemporary world that blow the negligents of their home-land and values to the arenas of loss, and from this point came the necessity of holding such important symposium. The conception of affiliation has many dimensions represent in the love of individual to his home-land, observing its protection, proud-ness to its affiliation and contribution in its development and growth.
The confirmed that the patriot affiliation or the righteous citizenship, is not just only words that we maneuver its selection and repetition or verses of poetry we command its composition or slogans we compete in its raising, but it’s a work, sincerity, interaction, sacrifice and transparency that doesn’t accept coloration, beside that its attitudes don’t subject to compromises but it strive to the safety, security, growth and promotion of the home-land. The affiliation to the home-land binds us to act and strive to achieve its interests, to defend it as guards and propagandists against corruption and as soldiers and custodians for its security, prosperous and safety.
He added that the patriot affiliation forces us to follow the paces of home-land as honesty between our hands, any one in his position, that paces which strictly adhere to the permanents of our Sharia and track the new developments upon which we deal with the Islamic Sharia scale.
He confirmed that the education has a significant function in developing the virtue of affiliation into the students as they are our bright future. This symposium with its inclusion of meetings and lectures is a blessed step to the religion and home-land, confirmation to the permanents, protection to the society and aims to deliver scientific practices, success solutions and deliberated plans that can bypass any obstacle confronts the development of affiliation to the religion and home-land.
H. E the minister of high education spoke about the inauguration of new projects in the university and he said; Today we witness inauguration of projects and placing foundation stones to a number of current and future university projects which its allocations equal to more than SR 13.700.000.000 as strong step that jumps with this famous university to the horizons of pioneering and internationality and extends its scopes, faculties and sections and present every thing that serves the students, staff members and all who related to this high system of education which most prominent of it, is the first phase of the university city for female students which designed, constructed and prepared due to the-last-state-of specifications and high world standards.
H. E blessed to the manger of Imam bin Saud Islamic university, Prof. Dr.Suliman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail and all university employees; staff members, personnel and students, for achievement accomplished by the university with which all proud.
H. E confirmed in an statement that the significant projects which had been inaugurated will have important positive results that will reflect on the teacher, student and the whole society in Kingdom, and what had been achieved and that would have been achieved after finishing its implementation, will support the march of university education till achieve its stipulated targets.
Also, H. E Dr. Al-Angary praised in his statement the significant dedication exerted by the university so that the symposium appears in a suitable form and achieves its targets. He indicated that the amount volume of the university projects is too big and reflects the huge care that the state gives to the education sector in general and university education in specific.
He spoke about the number of the students to be admitted in the next year from the graduates of secondary schools and he said, still the officials in university are discussing this matter and the ministry will have other meetings to accurately identify the number so as to achieve the interests of the graduated students of the next year and the balance inside universities so there will be no pressure on some specializations or some universities
He explained that the target of applying this unified admission system in universities, is coordination between the universities in Riyadh area, confirming that this will continue, indicating to the presence of coordination between holy Makkah district and eastern region, noting that the fact of presence of more than one university in one city or district requires this coordination between universities. He indicated that there will be an electronic portal for this purpose.
H. E disclosed that the number of students who sent in scholarships abroad exceeded 50 thousands male and female students, assuring that no one of the secondary graduates in the last year sent abroad except to study medicine and some health specializations and this matter will be repeated this year, indicating that the focusing will be on high and essence studies and also the study of medicine in bachelor phase and some graduates of diplomas and technology colleges.
He disclosed the intension of the ministry to consider the places of scholarship, where he indicated that a large number of Saudi students constituted a pressure or high concentration in some places which hinder them learning the language as well as doesn’t achieve the required target of the study and interaction with the academic society and the society into which they live, noting that there is a trend to identify the scholarship to the countries which there is still an opportunity to send more students.
From his side, the university vice manager for scientific institutes affairs, the symposium’s preparation committee chairman, Dr. Bandar bin Fahad Al-Suwailm, indicated that there was a period of time into which the patriot affiliation was absent from the laws of life, dictionaries of education and feelings of man, therefore, the system was breached and sole disturbed and collided with its nature and then we awaked from our sleeping and more of our youths had drunk the harshness sour of the homeland and separated from its land and unity, and so we started again to speak about homeland, so the affiliation appears during this time and tackled by media, lectures, lesson classes, addresses and other.
He explained that the fields of education were being the widening tour to speak about affiliation on the level of studying courses, daily lessons and students activities.
He added, due to the importance of this matter in our public and private live, its connection with family, club, school, university, various media and before all that its relation with Islamic belief and connection with man conscience and his nature, behavior and his relation with other, came the idea of the this symposium which adopted by the university under the title”patriot affiliation in general education- visions and aspirations”.
He emphasized that the idea and organization of this symposium come according to a true vision to fix the love and best affiliation to homeland, which to be translated into a behavior in saying and working of the sons of this blessed homeland through legal (Sharia) originating of righteous citizenship which confirms the legal (Sharia) right of the homeland and warns against the negative impacts consequences of breaching it, and highlights the responsibility of education organizations, education leadership and the teacher of general and university education further to the studying courses and students activities, in deepening the affiliation to homeland, and educates the young the love, fulfillment and care the values of the homeland along with benefiting Arab, Islamic and international experiences and experiments in achieving the love of homeland.
He indicated that the working committees observed that the symposium could take another essence to be added to the scientific meetings, indicating to the two public lectures that were organized in Imam university and delivered by for his imminent Sheikh Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah Al- Al-Sheikh the general Mufti of kingdom and H.E Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Hussein the general president of the two holy mosques affairs.
Then, the advisor of his imminent the general Mufti of kingdom, H.E Sheikh Dr. Mohamed bin Saad Al0-Shwaier delivered the participants’ word into which reviewed symposium’s axles and sessions/ meetings.
At the end of the ceremony, H.E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Angary, the minister of the high education inaugurated the university projects and placed foundation stone to the new ones which included buildings of a number of faculties, deanships and institutes beside the construction of additional multi stories parking at the educational area and the construction of boys and girls schools and placement of foundation stone to the third part of staff members residential area in university city as this considered the second expansion project of staff members housing project in the university city which will include the construction of more than (1000) housing units distributed into a group of various heights buildings and the completion of the basic utilities of the university city to conform with the necessitated requirements of the current buildings and that ones to be constructed.
Then H.E honored symposium supporters and received a memorial trophy on this occasion.
Following that, H. E the minster of high education, Dr. A-Angary cut the opening tape of the show associated with symposium and toured its galleries and reviwed show participants’ suites.
