Imam University Topped in New QS World Rankings

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has topped lastly in the recent QS World University Rankings of 2010. The rankings place the university in the top 600 universities globally and as the seventh regionally, besides the university has edging aside other counterpart ones through its excellence transformative researches and other researches that changes people's lives which carried out at and by its academicians.
On the significance of the announcement, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, has stated that, this achievement scored by the university is definitely attributed to the staunch and blessed support and encouragement received by the government of H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, The Custodian of The Two Holly Mosques, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, and H.R.H. Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier.
Continued his statements, Imam University Rector had passed his congrats to all the university officials and members and highly stimulus them to do their utmost to render a more bold achievements to the university. “While university league tables tend to over-simplify the range of achievements at institutions, it is particularly pleasing to note that Imam University was voted the best for research quality in a poll of more than thousands academics around the world”, said Dr. Aba Al-Khail.
Dr. Abdul-rahman Hamd Ad-Dawud, Imam University Vice-Rector for Studies, Development and Academic Accreditation, voiced his satisfactions over the accomplishment in QS rankings and further added that, Imam University is always honoured to be recognised among such high calibre institutions of higher learning and it will pursue depending upon the evaluation and quality policies and values it has adopted and adapted in the weeks ago. Dr. Ad-Dawud highly lauded the ample support by H.E. Khalid Al-Angary, the Minister of Higher Education, and by all the ministry cabinet.
Praising the big jump achieved, Dr. Ahmed Yahiya Jubaili, Dean of Evaluation and Quality Deanship, said that, QS World University Ranking is has been most critical worldwide and it has gained an excellent reputation as it sets about building its own methodology and measurements.
