CIJ Center Looking Forward to Achieve its Aspirations & Ambitions: Rector

On the significance of the initial workshop of Contemporary Issues Jurisprudence Center (CIJC), H.E. Professor Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, the rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, stressed upon roles and targets of the center which already comes in consolidation line with Imam University's scientific and research visions.

"Imam University always pays attention to the Glorious Quran sciences and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in its most exerted efforts, in addition to other juristic sciences" outlined Dr. Aba Al-Khail. He, likewise, reconfirmed words of H.E. Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Angary, Minister of Higher Education, after signing the financing agreement of the center that "It's a valuable step to rivalry in a like field. CIJ center is amongst the most useful establishing center at all Saudi universities ever".

At end, Dr. Aba Al-Khail encouraged all participants to do their utmost strenuous efforts to beef up the center and its departments and to learn and serve based-Sharia knowledge.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Ayad .N. As-Selamay, director of center, said that "Absorbing the Scientific Researches and presenting all specialized consultations for different branches of government and NGOs would be among the vital roles of the center".

At the end of the inauguration session, a momentum had been presented to the rector Dr. Aba Al-Khail by Dr. Abdullah Al-Khalaf, Vice-rector for Higher Studies and Scientific Research.

Addressing the initial workshop are Dr. Mohammed .A. Ao-ohali, Undersecretary of Ministry of Higher Education for education affairs, and a number of vice-rectors and officials. It is held this morning at the Conferences and Continuing Education Bldg.

After that, the first session of the workshop was launched where many scientific papers were presented.
