Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Visits Imam University Headquarters

Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh 

In pursuance with the collaboration and integration bonds between Saudi Shura Council (Consultative Assembly Council of Saudi Arabia) and Imam University, it has been announced that, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Saudi Shura Council, will pay on the next Tuesday a visit to the headquarters of the university at Ar-Riyadh.

Accompanying by a high-level delegation members of the senior officials of the Shura council, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh will meet with H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam University, and all vice-rectors and deans of the colleges as well as members of the university council and he, additionally, will tour in the most prominent premises and monuments of the university.

On significance with the announcement, Dr. Aba Al-Khail expressed his happiness and appreciation for the intending visit by the speaker of Shura council. “The visit is comes with an aim to cementing the relationship bridges between the two remarkable institutions and to strengthen the current and ongoing consulting and engaging efforts. The visiting members of Shura council will get close to enlighten about the progress and advancement witnessing by the university in all the educational, research and technological fields”, said H.E. the rector.

In continuous, a number of senior officials from Imam University, including but not limited to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yusuf Ad-Drwaish, Imam Vice-Rector for Community Service and Information Technology, had voiced their welcome and acknowledgement about the planning visit of Dr. Al Al-Sheikh to the university. They expressed their deeply wishes and prayers for the visit to accomplish its designed goals.
