Imam University Delegation Visits UNESCO Headquarter

On the outbreak of current December, a high-level delegation members from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University paid a visit to the UNESCO (United Nation Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) headquarter in Paris, France Republic.

Imam University delegation members had a meeting with Dr.

 Hassmik Tortian who is responsible for international cooperation and projects in UNESCO. Dr. Tortian gave her congratulation on the Saudi higher institutions efforts and endeavors to establish a specialized scientific research chairs which will cooperate fully with UNESCO. Dr. Tortian noted that, there currently only one research chair financing by H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz  on the health studies improvements.
 

At the last of the meeting, delegation members thanked UNESCO official for her assistance which would surly help the development of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education and research at Saudi universities.
