 Al-Imam University Ranks Higher at RAQMI

​On the last days, the official internet portal of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has ranked higher in the third place at the VI edition of the “Digital Excellence Award” (RAQMI), the branch of “Educational Institutes”, which organising by Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

Announced that, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and further congratulated Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Dean of Deanship of Information Technology, and all IT community of the university. H.E. the university Rector has remarked that, Al-Imam University often receives due care from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in all regard its educational and strategic visions.

In a similar vein, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has also praised the efforts of Dr. Majid Al-Huqail, Acting Minister of Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in encouraging the award in all its branches.

As well, Dr. Muhammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, and Dr. Al-Jandal had both acknowledged H.E. the university Rector for his tireless and endless support and encouragement to all the efforts and activities of the university.

It is worth to mention that, the “Digital Excellence Award” is focusing not only on the quality of organizations specialized in Internet Services Business, but also the quality of Arabic web content in various branches determined by scientific, announced evaluation standards. It, additionally, targets enhance utilization of Information and Communication Technology in the Arabic world and aiming to spread out the amount of Arabic content into the Internet space.
