The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Ambassador to the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Mitrik A. Al-Ajaleen, patronized the graduation of the sixth university cohort and the 45th cohort of the general section at the Islamic Institute in Djibouti, affiliated with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Djibouti, Dr. Nabil M. Ahmed; the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Mustafa M. Mahmoud; and the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Mr. Moumin H. Berri, in addition to the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hatem F. Al-Mudarra, as well as a number of ambassadors, heads, and representatives of diplomatic missions in Djibouti.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an, followed by a visual presentation highlighting the Institute's history, journey, and achievements in the educational and cultural fields. This was followed by a speech delivered by the male and female graduates.
In his speech, the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training in Djibouti, Mr. Mustafa M. Mahmoud, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the Dean of the Institute, emphasizing that the Islamic Institute represents a distinguished academic institution and a leading model of educational cooperation between the two countries. He noted that it contributes to spreading knowledge and promoting the values of moderation and balance.
For his part, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hatem F. Al-Mudarra, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their continuous support of education, service to Islam, and the promotion of the Arabic language.
Dr. Al-Mudarra also extended his thanks to the President of the University, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, and the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Asmari, for their great support and ongoing attention to the Institute, its staff, and its students.
He explained that the Institute, affiliated with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in the Republic of Djibouti, has a history spanning more than 45 years and continues to fulfill its mission of preparing qualified professionals in the fields of Sharia, Arabic language, and business administration.
Dr. Al-Mudarra stated that the number of graduates this year reached 136 male and female students across both the university and secondary levels.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Institute honored a number of high-ranking officials, as well as the ceremony's patron, staff members whose assignments concluded this year, and outstanding male and female students.
