(IMSIU) signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with Middle East Healthcare Company (Saudi German Hospitals Group), aiming to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, training, development, consulting, and the exchange of expertise in the medical and healthcare sectors.

     The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Naif M. Al-Otaibi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, while the Saudi German Hospitals Group was represented by Dr. Nizar M. Bahabri, the group's Medical Director.

     The memorandum aims to strengthen integration and cooperation between both parties in medical and clinical research, and in the development of research projects that contribute to improving quality of life and healthcare services in the Kingdom. It also seeks to support practical training programs for university students and reinforce strategic partnerships aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

     Areas of cooperation include developing joint research protocols that utilize biological samples and data, organizing academic meetings, workshops, and conferences, and sharing knowledge resources and digital educational materials. The agreement also fosters the exchange of academic and medical expertise in the fields of research, quality assurance, planning, and institutional excellence.

    This memorandum comes as part of the University's broader efforts to strengthen collaboration with leading national healthcare institutions, with the aim of advancing research and medical capabilities, as well as enhancing the quality of educational and training outcomes.​
