Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), represented by the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, signed on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, a cooperation agreement with the Etijah Association for Career Guidance and Counseling. The agreement aims to strengthen joint cooperation in the fields of cooperative training, career guidance and counseling, and to support the qualification of male and female students while enhancing their academic and professional readiness, in a manner that aligns educational outcomes with labor market requirements.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Dr. Mishaal F. Al-Mughairi, Advisor to the Vice President for Educational Affairs and Head of the Alumni Center, while the Association was represented by Prof. Ibrahim S. Al-Mu'taz, Member of the Board of Directors.
The agreement seeks to establish an organized framework for cooperation between the two parties, underscoring the pivotal role of career guidance and counseling in helping students choose academic majors aligned with their interests and abilities, adjust their academic and professional pathways, and develop awareness of labor market requirements. This, in turn, contributes to improving the quality of educational outcomes and supporting sound career planning for students and graduates.
The agreement includes the exchange of expertise, studies, and consultations; activating student participation in joint programs and initiatives; cooperation in cooperative training, qualification, and career guidance for IMSIU students; organizing conferences, forums, career weeks, and career guidance events; holding joint meetings and workshops for staff of both parties; and enhancing joint research projects that serve the community and contribute to supporting knowledge and scientific research.
